Ideal for kids who love performing and want to develop amazing new skills. Students learn a variety of choreographed routines in different genres including jazz, broadway, contemporary and lyrical. Students build confidence as they perform on stage at the mid year display day and the annual concert.
Strong friendships are created as the students work closely together in a team. Like any sporting team, troupe members need to be committed as they work towards performances.

Advanced Technical Extension (ATX)

Level: Advanced Training - New Class Alert
ATX is designed for dedicated dancers ready to push their technical limits.
Using Radar, IDT, and Dance Labs online programs, ATX focuses on strength, flexibility, and advanced skill development.
ATX offers the opportunity to refine technique, build power, and extend performance capability in a supportive but challenging environment.

This class is for students who have achieved (or are very close to achieving) their left or right front split and a flat pull-through.
Hip Hop

Get ready to move! Our Hip Hop classes are a high-energy mix of music, rhythm, and fun that students absolutely love. Each week, dancers learn dynamic choreography that includes sharp, hard-hitting movements, smooth grooves, and elements of lyrical hip hop.
Classes focus on musicality, coordination, confidence, and performance skills. We provide a positive and supportive environment where creativity shines.
Whether your child is just starting out or already has experience, our hip hop program caters to all levels, with age-appropriate choreography and music.
Throughout the year, dancers work on exciting performance routines. Performing in front of a live audience is an unforgettable experience that builds self-esteem and helps young dancers grow both on and off the stage.

Our Acro Gymnastics classes are incredibly popular. Students learn a wide range of acrobatic and tumbling skills, including forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, backbends, walkovers, aerials, elbow stands, handsprings, and more—always taught with a focus on safe, progressive technique.
Each student is supported to progress at their own pace, with exercises tailored to their individual ability.
Our experienced instructors place an emphasis on developing balance, strength, flexibility, agility, and body control in a fun and encouraging environment.

Tap Troupe

Level: Prior Tap knowledge is helpful but not necessary.
Make music with your feet and discover the exciting world of tap dance! Our Tap classes are energetic, engaging, and perfect for dancers who love rhythm and sound. Students learn to create intricate beats using their feet, building timing, coordination, and musicality in a fun and supportive environment.
Tap is also a fantastic form of cardio. It keeps dancers active while sharpening focus and enhancing listening skills. Classes include detailed rhythm exercises that build strong tap technique and each year, students learn a fun and dynamic choreographed tap routine.
Tap is a rewarding style that challenges both the body and the brain! Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your tap skills to the next level, our all-levels tap classes are a great way to step up and stand out.

Ballet

Pointe
Thursday 6:45 - 7:15
$15 per class
Level: Beginner / Intermediate
Starting Pointe is very exciting and marks a milestone in a dancer’s life, as pointe work requires great strength in the legs and ankles, built from years of ballet training.
Readiness for pointe work is determined by a student’s strength, technique and physical development. Students must be at least 11yrs.
Prior to starting this class, students must be assessed by a podiatrist or physio with a dance background.
Dancing en pointe is a beautiful expression of strength, grace, and dedication where a dancer appears to defy gravity, moving with effortless elegance.

From Grade 5, there is a pointe component performed in exams.
Troupe (Elite)
Saturday 2:30 - 3:45

Elite Performance Team
Ideal for kids who love performing and want to strive for excellence. Students learn a variety of choreographed routines in different genres including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and musical theatre. Students build confidence as they perform on stage at competitions and the concert. Strong friendships are created as the students work closely together in a team. Like any sporting team, troupe members need to be committed as they work towards performances. More info.

IDT
Saturday 4:00 - 5:15

Level: All Levels
International Dance Technique (IDT) is a nationally recognised syllabus designed to enhance dancers’ technical ability, athletic performance, and overall physical fitness. This progressive program focuses on developing key elements essential to strong dance training, including:
· Plyometric agility
· Core strength
· Flexibility and mobility
· Cardiovascular fitness
· Strong and clean jazz technique
Students work on mastering and perfecting a wide range of jazz-based skills such as leaps, tilts, kicks, pirouettes, turns, battements, and much, much more. The syllabus encourages safe dance practice, body awareness, and continuous personal improvement.
IDT is an excellent complement to regular dance classes, helping students become more versatile and powerful performers.
To get the most out of the IDT program, students are strongly encouraged to stretch regularly at home.
