Elite Troupe
"Troupe is my favourite class. I love being with my friends and I love learning different dances. Going on stage is the best".
Like any sporting team, troupe members need to be committed as they work towards performances.

Showcase
6&U troupe students and soloists practice on stage prior to the comps
Comps
Troupe members compete at 2 state comps in per year May and August.
Concert
The concert is held at the end of term 3. Troupe students will perform comps routines and learn a special finale for the concert only.

Additional Rehearsals

To help prepare students for comps we hold 2 additional rehearsals at the studio and 2 rehearsals at a theatre. These are extremely beneficial for our competition teams. Rehearsals may be scheduled on a Sunday.
Assessments
Audition
The competitions we enter are state competitions and the standard is extremely high. Troupe students will be assessed in class to see if they meet the criteria to be eligible to perform at competitions.

We encourage all students to practice at home regularly so the troupe will look cohesive on stage.
We upload videos on the Parent Centre to to help students practice at home

Costumes

Costumes typically cost between $120 - $150 each.

Troupe students require 3 costumes per year.

Tap Troupe students will require 1 costume per year.

Stockings, makeup and hairpieces may also need to be purchased.
